For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power 1 Corinthians 4:20
The Bible says the kingdom is not in word but it’s in power. Not a whole a lot of talk but it says the gifts follow those that believe that’s the power. And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:17-18. Let that resonate with you, if the kingdom is in us we should have power. Power to overcome, power to access peace, power to have joy, power to thrive in the desert, power over all things, power to get up and go on. The Bible says I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven Matthew 16:19. That tells me again that in his kingdom we have access to everything we need. That if we believe we can bind hell and loose the heavens but, we just quote scriptures to sound smart and we have no understanding. We use them for the wrong reasons for our own selfish gain or for justification of our actions but not for growth, we speak them but we don’t actually take them for what they are saying. We don’t actually believe them we don’t live them.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven Matthew 6:10. That says to me when the kingdom comes his will shall be done in us we are the earth. That if we let his kingdom come not only will we not miss anything but, when that kingdom comes it’s going to come with a power to transform us. It’s going to come with a power to fulfill his will in us as it is in heaven.
How do we let his kingdom come? Believe he is who he says, believe we are who he says we are in him, speak it, claim it, even if you don’t see it yet. Ask him to come, let go of everything you think you know. Let go of your own agenda and ask for his will to be fulfilled in your life. I often say God I decrease so that you may increase, God less of me and more of you. I struggle with things myself because we tend to only receive things in partially. What Christ is offering us seems too good to be true at times and we can’t receive it because we feel like we don’t deserve it. Christ knew we were imperfect when he died for us. It’s not about deserving it it’s about receiving it. We must believe to receive. We must keep our minds stayed in heavenly places we must be supernaturally minded. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Colossians 3:2-10.
As Christ fulfilled the law he has also fulfilled the law in us in order that we may have access to all he is. When I was praying I was praying for an issue I struggle with and was looking for a breakthrough in that area and I was upset. You know we want to blame ourselves, or wallow and feel like this will never change or I can’t do it. Then I heard a song and I thought I’m fighting this in the flesh. In the flesh and in my emotions, I have no power but, in the kingdom, I am already made whole. I was able to feel encouraged and gain peace knowing as I continue to seek his kingdom and allow it to manifest in my life who God has destined me to be will begin to appear as I allow him to appear in me. Thy kingdom come in ME, thy will be done in ME is what I began to pray and I was encouraged and that negativity lifted off me and I had a renewed strength to continue on. Stop fighting God we don’t know what’s best but he does. Try not to pray for what you think you need but pray for his will to be done. As always, I pray you are blessed in your coming and in your going. He is with us!
