38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water John 7:38.
Did you know that you can be so full of Christ that you begin to overflow? That if we will get our relationship with Christ right first, he will cause all the other things in the natural to line up as well. Sometimes we have circumstances, situations, and even behaviors that we can’t control, and they can threaten to overtake us but if we will invite Christ to come in and dwell with us, he can change all of that. As we fill ourselves up with all that he is it begins to push out what doesn’t belong, it pushes out what we can’t change, and it brings with it a peace that we can’t have on our own.7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.
The spirit will begin to flow out of who we are, and it will go before us and prepare a way for us. It will break strongholds, it will break generational curses, it will break mindsets, and it can break people, even the hardest of hearts. But we must get in God and remain in God no matter what anyone around us says or does don’t give up your place in God. Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain 1 Corinthians 3:16
Begin to ask God to fill you up with more of him, fill you up with more of his spirit, and fill you up with more of his word. If you don’t know what you need, ask him to fill you up with what you are lacking. With an anointing to set your life in order. Cry out to him until you run over, and that living water begins to flow out of you and into every part of your life.
Think about the scripture 38 give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” press down shaken up and overflowing Luke 6:38. I know that this scripture is often used in offering but what if you become the offering to God? Then he can press you until a sweet aroma comes out. He can shake you until everything that is not like him falls off, and then you can overflow with his spirit. That overflow is a precious place to be. That overflow is a place of abundance in him. 16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God Ephesians 3: 16-19
I know this seemed simple and short today, but I just kept hearing overflow in my spirit. Don’t you know when he is in you rooted in you flowing out of you that nothing can stop you or stand in your way not even you! Really cry out to him it doesn’t take 1,000 scholarly and pretty words. Just an earnest and honest plea. Just get alone and offer yourself to him and ask him to fill you. God is interested in our inner man he’s wants to do an inner work. Once we open ourselves to that he will set the rest in order. I pray that you are richly blessed and that God meets you in the weeks to come.
