More Then We Can Ask or Think

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
Ephesians 3:20 NKJV

I was ministering to someone who just had a loss someone had stolen the tools necessary for their lively hood and they were pretty down even to the point of blaming themselves. He was worried that he wouldn’t be able to make up the loss. I began to share with him how God is more than able to make up the difference he can cause things to return to us that we thought lost forever. He can make a way out of absolutely no way! He can cause the insurance company to give finances and even cause people to give to your life. Anytime I had a lack in finances over the years before I even had time to worry about it, he would raise people up to offer me odd jobs out of nowhere or people to hand me 100-dollar bills. I told him this is a good thing because when we get backed into a corner in the flesh God comes roaring forth in the Spirit. God is waiting for us to trust him. We never let him show us what he can do because our expectations are so low. God is wanting us to taste and see that he is good. That he is faithful to fulfil his word and his word says in the Bible that he is able to do exceedingly above all we can ask or think! Whatever you are thinking it’s not big enough when you are trusting in and believing in him. He always does more! He’s a God of abundance! I began to tell him don’t even give it another thought. Walk away from here today think of all you have to be grateful for begin to thank him for those things. The Bible says praise sets up ambushes or traps for the enemy praise him give him that garment of heaviness for his garment of praise. His mercy is new everyday he is sufficient for today and tomorrow he will have new mercies and new sufficiency’s. I challenge you this week if you are facing something this week that seems bigger then you put on these things give God an opportunity to be God and taste and see that he is good always.

Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.
Lamentations 3:22‭-‬23
